Elaborate architecture and hundred year old history is what makes this venue attractive to many. With the four-story high atrium and unique skylight ceiling, your wedding will have a stunning blend of natural light and deep, rich tones. If you tend to enjoy the aura of St. Paul over Minneapolis, then this is definitely a place you will want to check out. It is right across the street from the infamous Rice Park, which offers additional variety to photo-ops – there’s a fountain, and at night, there are twinkle lights! If you have a winter wedding, don’t think twice – Rice Park is the most magical winter wonderland! But in any season, you will love what the Landmark Center has to offer.
This is a government owned building and has a variety of functions. Yes, this venue is actually on an island. Not exactly your sandy beach + tropical fruits island, but is sounds equally enchanting – Raspberry Island! Rich with charm & history, the Nicollet Island Pavilion has all the exposed brick you could ever dream of, deep hanging chandeliers, and evergreen-colored ceilings and doors. The main difference between this venue and others that I’ve listed is that it’s run by a 3rd party company who is responsible for the management of many wedding venues. (For its sister location, check out Minnesota Boat Club, also on the shores of Raspberry Island, providing gorgeous city views and bridge access).
